Service vessels
There are many types of service boats:
ASSISTANCE SHIPS (multi purpose supply vessels, tug boats…)
- Dimensional and weight constraints, because these boats have to be easy to handle, easy maintenance and some of them have to be fast boats

RESEARCH VESSELS :
- HVAC design adapted to research equipment located on-board (maximum temperature, hygrometry requirements, …)
 - Environmental constraints depending on the research area, and fluctuating according to specific missions
 - Use and capacity conditions might change while at sea (tug operation, sea rescue assistance

PASSENGERS VESSELS :
- Energy saving solutions are used, such as : lounge ventilation instead of air conditioning during summer, energy recovery on motor circuit during winter, use of an air conditioning heat pump (increasing efficiency and reducing diesel cost)
 - Regulation adapted to the different operation phases of the vessel
 - Gain in weight and dimensions in order to optimize sailing trips and transportation
